?Broadcasting SEC football in the Washington DC market really fills a major void for college football fans who have been seeking ways to watch these games,? said Ashley Messina, Vice President and General Manager of DC50. ?SEC is the premier conference in college football. We have SEC basketball in the winter, MASN/Nationals baseball in the spring and summer and now SEC football in the fall. We?re excited to continually be building our distinctive sports presence for local viewers.?
Established in 1932, SEC participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and is one of the founding members of the Bowl Championship Series. It?s participating schools include: University of Alabama, University of Arkansas, Auburn University, University of Florida, University of Kentucky, Louisiana State University, University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, University of Missouri, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
