Oregon 5, Hawaii 4: Sherfy saves victory as Ducks baseball team moves to 2-0

Ducks closer Jimmie Sherfy pitched out of a ninth-inning jam? --? runners on second and third and nobody out -- to save a 5-4 victory on Saturday as the Ducks (2-0) held off Hawaii (0-2) in Honolulu.

?Oregon starter Tommy Thorpe earned the victory, allowing seven hits and an earned run over five innings with four strikeouts and two walks.

Brett Thomas, Ryon Healy, Ryan Hambright and Kyle Garlick all had RBI for the Ducks. Healy also collected three hits. ?
