About 525 dogs were seized from a Western Quebec breeder last weekend, and put into an emergency shelter run by Humane Society International Canada. The humane organization then appealed for dog toys, food bowls, bedding, and volunteers to help care for the dogs. Yesterday, offers to help poured in from animal lovers across Canada.
?We?re just getting a huge outpouring and it?s so necessary because with this many animals, it?s a huge volume of donations to get in,? said Rebecca Aldworth, executive director of Humane Society International Canada.
