Phil Mickelson is widely regarded as one of the best, if not thee best wedge player in golf history. His talent and skill will be on full display in front of a packed crowd tonight during halftime of the Broncos-Chargers game.
Mickelson will stand in one end zone and aim for several small targets 100 yards away. Should he land in one of those specified areas, he?ll win as much as $1,000,000 for the First Book Foundation. A group that dedicates its efforts to providing books for children in need. Should Mickelson have flashbacks to Sunday at the Ryder Cup, the foundation stands to gain only $50k.
So, even if you hate Lefty and think he?s sort of a fraud, tonight?s for the kids you guys.
(Tangibly related, how much did Phil bet on his hometown Chargers? A cool million?)
