Imagine Changes Hypnosis: Best Recipe for Self Improvement #3: Focus
Clients working on self-improvement will learn to focus. You will have already increased your ability to focus by learning to observe and define the fine details of your recollections and desires.
?
Doing mindful meditation increases the ability to focus. Using self-hypnosis also increases the art of focusing.
Try this:
- Breathe in to the count of 6, hold for 6, exhale to your internal count of 18.
- Repeat 3 times. Now that you?re relaxed, get yourself comfortable.
- Consider self-improvement and identify just one of the benefits of learning the discipline.
- Self-improvement can improve habits. Once you decide and define it, let it go.
- Look up to the corner of the walls and ceiling.
- Focus on that one point. Put all your attention there.
- Once you?re centered, focusing on this point, start to notice, by using your peripheral vision, everything beyond your right shoulder and then everything beyond your left shoulder.
- Still looking at that point on the ceiling, imagine seeing everything behind you and below you.
- Using your imagination, realize your awareness of being able to see yourself suspended, even though you?re sitting in the chair.
Practice this focusing and relaxation technique and let it become part of your tools for self-improvement.
