Endometrial cancer is a disease common in women after menopause. Approximately 80% of cases are diagnosed in women aged 50 -75 years, with peak incidence occurs in women aged 55-70 years. Women entering menopause have a double chance for endometrial cancer than likely to have cervical or ovarian carcinoma.

The incidence of endometrial cancer varies greatly in different parts of the events in the country. Gegrafis pattern of the disease follows the pattern of breast and ovarian cancer with the highest average in industrialized countries. There is a clear opposite pattern of cervical cancer.

The relationship between the hormone estrogen with endometrial cancer has been known for over 50 years. Estimated to increase the risk for having a close relationship with estrogen levels are generally not inhibited by progesterone. There is a close relationship between endometrial cancer risk, high-fat diet is also associated with obesity and type II diabetes mellitus. The number and type of fat in the diet affect the metabolism of estrogen.
