Brutish Organize More Terror and War in Africa

The British empire is expanding the terrorism and war it has inflicted from the Middle East to Afghanistan, into an East-West belt reaching across Africa, from Somalia (with no functioning government) in the Horn of Africa to the impoverished region of the Sahel and Nigeria, in West Africa. The resulting conflicts, with the support of Obama and France, will be yet another message to Russia and China that the British empire has changed the rules in the ongoing monetary system collapse, making Russian and Chinese collaboration with Africa no longer possible.

* Last month, British Prime Minister David Cameron called Somalia a "failed state that directly threatens British interests." He has scheduled a London summit in February to bring together the countries currently active in the Horn of Africa (which include France and the U.S.) to discuss how to address the situation. Obama has already dispatched a small Africom force to Uganda for use in the Horn and the neighboring region, and Kenya has also been induced to send a military force across the border into Somalia (for which it received $24 million from the Obama Administration), which will be used as a pretext to whip up the jihadi militias. Reports that the U.S. is running a Guantanamo-style prison in Mogadishu, where people are being tortured, further adds to the jihadi mobilization.

* Earlier this week, the UK's international development minister, Andrew Mitchell, called for "urgent action" there, as "Somalia is a very direct threat to the security of the United Kingdom."

* MI5 chief Jonathan Evans has warned that Somalia has become the next destination after Pakistan for terrorist training, according to The Independent, further raising prospects of an intervention. Evans said that Somalia is a new training ground for terrorists; he said that Somalia is the next destination after Pakistan for terrorist training.

On the Sahel front:

* In West Africa, more attacks in Nigeria during Christmas week, and bombings of Christian churches on Christmas day, have been attributed to a radical Islamic group, Boko Haram. The population is questioning the ability or will of the government to defend them. After the Christmas bombings, Abba Moro, Nigeria's interior minister, announced that the government intends to change its tactics in dealing with the Islamist sect Boko Haram, and get tougher, saying that this problem couldn't be resolved by negotiating. The Obama Administration is giving counterinsurgency training to deal with Boko Haram. So, more conflict can be expected. Nigeria has firmly been caught in the trap.

French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said in November, in Nigeria, that France would also give training and intelligence cooperation to Nigeria and the Sahel countries. At that time, Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Azubuike Ihejirika, said that "Countries like Pakistan, United States of America and Britain, will be offering anti-terrorist training to Nigerian security officers."

* In the week before Christmas, there were meetings in Mali between Mali and Algeria (itself an important target of the British) about dealing with what is said to be an al-Qaeda offshoot, al-Qaeda in the Maghreb. Algeria, Mali, Mauritania, and Niger have recently set up a joint operation for this purpose. The Obama Administration has been advising governments in region on combating. Since nothing is being done by the industrial countries to develop these economies, the only result will be perpetual war.
