Following my passion for real estate and a similar affinity for assisting people reach their long-term real estate investment goals, I served as a Qualified Intermediary and real estate and tax consultant for six years at a nationally respected 1031 like-kind exchange firm. In that time I facilitated over 200 IRC ? 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges ? providing $300 million in client tax deferral ? and consulted on over 100 engagements covering a wide variety of real estate, natural resources, and other legal and tax issues. I continue in these practice areas ? and more ? as an attorney and counselor at law.
I earned law and MBA degrees from Gonzaga University and my undergraduate degree in History and Russian from Brigham Young University. I am married and have three children. Away from the office, I enjoy being with his family, reading, running, and playing with the latest and greatest tech gadgets and software.
