Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men from VeggieTales | Go ...

One of my favorite movies to watch while I was growing up was Robin Hood (the Disney cartoon version). ?So, I was thrilled to see that VeggieTales decided to take their own spin on this classic.
Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men is new and out on DVD and Graham loves it! ?I was glad that I let Graham see the Robin Hood movie before he saw this because he was able to compare and contrast what was going on. ?Here's a little more about the show:
Theres no hurt too big for God! Robin Good has a mission - fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople?s hams, donations are down and Robin?s band of friends desert him to give robbing a try. Can Robin overcome his hurt, show his friends what?s right and restore the townspeople's hope?
The DVD even features a fun short in the beginning called "Lenny & the Lost Birthday". ?It is such a great tale of a child who thinks everyone has forgotten his birthday. ?Can anyone relate? ?Both stories do a great job of helping kids relate to being hurt and how we can overcome that hurt. ?Of course, who could ever forget the Silly Songs with Larry! ?I absolutely love "Bubble Rap."

Robin Good also features a "Leapin' Leap Year Lesson" and many other great bonus features. ?Parents will love the handling hurt discussion guide so that they can talk through things after the movie. ?What a valuable tool for kids and parents! ?You can order the DVD for $14.99.

This product was provided free of charge by VeggieTales. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.
