TV Ratings: 'The Voice,' 'America's Got Talent' Boost NBC

NBC has found a competitive one-two punch.

Going head-to-head with ABC's telecast of Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks, NBC's America's Got Talent (12.7 million total viewers, 3.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic) and The Voice (12.3 million, 4.6) powered the network for the No. 1 spot in viewership on Tuesday night.

Though Talent and Voice dipped from last week, it was still a good showing for the summer reality competition series. In fact, compared to last summer, NBC averaged a 1.5 rating at 8 p.m. and a 3.0 rating in the 9-11 p.m. slots.

Final numbers for the Heat-Mavericks game won't be available until later today, but in the primetime period, it is likely that the NBA playoffs will be the top-rated telecast of the night.

Fox's MasterChef (4.5 million, 1.9) saw a 6 percent boost from its Monday premiere.
